Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen and Malaysian prime minister Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim presided over the signing ceremony of two cooperation initiative documents on Monday (Mar 27) at the Peace Palace.

The two initiative documents are as follows:

1. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Malaysia and the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia on the Recruitment, Employment, and Repatriation of Domestic Workers.

2. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Malaysia and the Royal Government of Cambodia on the Recruitment, Employment, and Repatriation of Workers.

Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim arrived in Cambodia at 9 am on Monday (Mar. 27) for a one-day official visit at the invitation of Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen.

Anwar will be granted a Royal Audience by Cambodian king Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace. He will also have separate courtesy calls on president of the Senate Say Chhum and president of the National Assembly Heng Samrin, according to a press release dated 24 March 2023.
