Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 22 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that the US is a significant actor in the global economy. If the US's economy is weak, it will affect global economy, including Cambodia's.

The premier spoke at a graduation of nearly 5,000 students of Vanda Institute, held on Wednesday (Mar 22) at Diamond Island.

"In this era, every country's economic growth is interdependent. If one economy collapses, the other economies will be affected," the premier continued.

At the same time, Samdech pointed out that the US and EU are Cambodia's trading partners. If both nations have weakened economies, the kingdom's export performance will be negatively impacted.
