Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 17 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen thanked the United States and the United Kingdom for their efforts to return plundered Cambodian artifacts to the kingdom, speaking on Friday (Mar 17) during a celebration of returned Khmer artifacts to the kingdom at the Peace Palace.
"I would like to take this opportunity to express my special gratitude to the United States Government, including the US State Department, the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and the US Embassy, particularly the US ambassador to Cambodia Patrick Murphy, for offering good cooperation along with legal and technical support in preventing and returning Cambodia's cultural heritages," the premier underscored.
