Pursat (FN), Mar. 14 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen expressed his intention to make Cambodia a cashew nut emperor, the largest exporter of cashew nuts in the world.

The premier spoke during inspection of construction progress of Stung Pursat 1 Hydropower Plant, held on Tuesday morning (Mar 14) in Pursat province.

“Every country needs cashew nuts, especially to serve in the tourism sector," the premier underlined.

On that occasion, Samdech also urged the people in Pursat province to grow cashew, calling it a strategic crop.
