Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 13 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen revealed another shocking tragedy that his father-in-law was shot dead in the house by the Khmer Rouge while his wife was pregnant with his eldest daughter.

The premier spoke during an inauguration of the "The Son Under the Full Moon" TV Series, held on Monday (Mar 13) at the OCIC, Phnom Penh.

"My family has sacrificed too much. I had to face miscarriage as Phnom Penh did not have water, but another shocking tragedy was that the Khmer Rouge shot my father-in-law at home when my wife was pregnant with my eldest daughter,” the premier recalled.

At the same time, Samdech also expressed his regret over the loss of people around him. He hoped that those who are still alive could recognize their own characters in the TV series.
