Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 7 – The Royal Government had decided to provide allowances to approximately 32,000 workers during the suspension of the factories.

The premier spoke when he presided over the celebration of the 112th Anniversary of International Women's Day on Tuesday (Mar 7) at the Peace Palace.

Samdech stated that 32,000 workers will receive the same benefits when the factory was suspended like during the COVID19 period.

On that occasion, Samdech advised to increase the social protection stipends for pregnant women and their children under the age of two.

The Royal Government will continue to put further efforts on addressing women employment and vocational training, the premier added.
