Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen encouraged vocational training to boost domestic production, the economy and attract foreign investment, speaking at a graduation of nearly 2,000 students of Institute of New Khmer, held on Monday (Mar 6) at the OCIC, Phnom Penh.
“I would like to encourage you to continue pursuing vocational training, and pursuing associate degree, bachelor's degree or PhD. I would like to point out that skills are required to drive economic growth, production and attract investment,” the premier underlined.
On that occasion, Samdech added that the Royal Government is providing training to 1.5 million poor students.
Samdech continued, promoting vocational training is to attract foreign investors. If we lack skilled labor, there will be no job opportunities.
