Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 3 – Dai-ichi Life Insurance (Cambodia) PLC (“Dai-ichi Life Cambodia”) has appointed Ponlu Tola as its new Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) effective 9 March 2023.

Ponlu Tola will succeed Allen Thai, who was instrumental in the setup of Dai-ichi Life in Cambodia, guiding the business through the COVID19 pandemic and coming out of it to become one of the fastest growing life insurers in Cambodia.

Takashi Fujii, CEO of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Asia Pacific, said: “Dai-ichi Life Cambodia is in good hands with Ponlu Tola. He is a highly experienced, successful, and well-regarded business leader.
