Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 2 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen instructed to pay special attention to the writing of Khmer literature after seeing many errors.

The premier spoke at a gala dinner with artists on Thursday (Mar 2) at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center.

"We must pay special attention to the issue of Khmer literature, in particular the use of some words as the Khmer literature is evolving,” the premier underlined.

At the same time, Samdech also instructed the Royal Academy of Cambodia, especially the National Council for the Khmer Language and the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts to cooperate in preparing new foreign language translations in the field of art, which is increasingly used on social media.

“We must continue our efforts to strengthen the capacity of Khmer literature for our people,” the premier added.
