Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 1 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said the first legacy of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) leadership was saving innocent lives from the Pol Pot regime on 7 January Victory Day.
The premier spoke during a graduation of nearly 5,000 students of the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), held on Wednesday morning (Mar 1).
"First of all, never forget 7 January Victory Day. Without 7 January, no need to mention anything. Who dares to claim that without 7 January, they would still be alive?" the premier underscored.
The second legacy of the CPP leadership is participation in the peace-seeking process for Cambodia through negotiations and the implementation of the Paris Peace Agreement, the premier added.
