Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen reacted to the baseless argument of the opposition group for attacking defected youth groups.
The premier spoke at the 11th National Clean City Day, held on Monday afternoon (Feb 27) at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.
"When the [youth] groups decided to change their political orientation to support the Royal Government, the opposition started attacking the youth groups. In this regard, this action is the lack of respect for democracy," the premier underscored.

The eight youth organizations that changed their political orientation, namely the Khmer Youth Empire (KYE), 100 Nights Youth, Lover Environment and Society Association, Cambodian Informal Economy Youth, Young Researchers, Civil Society Group for Development, Youth for Peace and Development and Khmer Kampuchea Krom Charity Federation.
