Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 24 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen denied the ill-intended allegation stating that Samdech pushed his mother which broke her bones.
The premier spoke at the graduation of more than 7,000 students of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, held on Friday (Feb. 24) at Diamond Island Exhibition and Convention Center, Phnom Penh.
"I was accused by some people, claiming that I pushed my mother and beat my mother. How can they say this? 10 March marks the 25th anniversary of my mother's death. As a grateful child, I took care of my mother and father. I have six siblings, yet two were with the mother at her last minute. In fact, we had been with her for more than a week. In this sense, like a wise man said, when parents are sick, do not go far away," the premier underscored.
