Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 22 – Cambodian foreign minister Prak Sokhonn and the visiting state minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Takei Shunsuke, will sign the Exchange of Notes on the extension of Japanese Grant Aid at the amount of JPY 3,986,000,000 (approximately USD 30,600,000) for a development cooperation project in favor of the expansion of water supply system in Svay Rieng Province, on 24 February 2023 at the Ministry.

"The above-mentioned Exchange of Notes is an amendment to the amount stated in the previous Exchange of Notes signed n 02 March 2022," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Feb 22).

"The said generous gesture of the Government of Japan will significantly contribute to the Royal Government of Cambodia's ongoing socio-economic development endeavors, and the further deepening of the existing excellent relations and thriving across-the-board cooperation between the two nations, which are this year celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations".
