Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 14 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen and a high-level delegation arrived in Cambodia safe at around 1pm on Tuesday (Feb 14) after concluding a fruitful visit to Laos.
The premier was accompanied by deputy prime ministers, senior minister, senior government officials and business leaders.
During the visit, Samdech paid separate courtesy calls on president of the Lao PDR Thongloun Sisoulith, and president of the National Assembly of the Lao PDR Xaysomphone Phomvihane, as well as received a courtesy call by the president of Lao- Cambodian Friendship Association.
The premier also held a bilateral meeting with his Laotian counterpart prime minister Sonexay Siphandone to discuss how to further enhance bilateral cooperation in all fields, including political-security and socio-economic topics, and exchange views on sub-regional, regional and international issues of common interest and concern. Following the dialogue, the two prime ministers signed the "Action Plan for the Comprehensive and Long-Lasting Strategic Partnership between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Lao People's Democratic Republic for the year 2023-2027.
