Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 2 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that in the next few days, he will announce the launch of the Public Financial Management Reform Program - Phase Four, which is an effective budget allocation linking with government policies.
The premier spoke during a meeting with more than 1,000 students, who received Grade A from the examination, on Thursday morning (Feb 2) at OCIC, Phnom Penh.
"If the development policy aims for the education sector in the field of human resource training, more budget shall be allocated for this sector. Education can not be listed as a priority with a small proportion [budget] because it does not meet the requirements of the education sector," the premier underscored.
The Public Financial Management Reform Program has reached phase IV. Stage I from 2004-2008, stage II from 2009-2015, and stage III from 2016-2022.
