Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 14 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen asked all media outlets to jointly promote the 100-day countdown toward the SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games 2023, held on 25 January 2023 to raise people's support for athletes.

The premier spoke at the 5th meeting with journalists at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center on Saturday evening (Jan 14).

"As of 25 January 2023, there are only 100-day toward SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games. All media outlets shall jointly promote this event so our citizens will be aware that on the 25th is 100-day left to SEA Games," the premier underscored.

Samdech also urged citizens to support sports under the slogan "Sports live in peace; One person plays one sport; Cambodia reduces traffic; and Cambodia is clean" to urge citizens to play more sports and reduce traffic accidents.

Taking this occasion, Samdech announced that he will meet with the national athletes on 4 April 2023.
