Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 14 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen advised the leaders of national and sub-national institutions not to consider journalists as their enemies, but to have good communication to spread news to citizens.
The premier spoke during a meeting with nearly 5,000 journalists, held on Saturday (Jan 14) at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh.

Currently, although there are some weaknesses in some institutions and some provinces, compared to the past, our mass media has improved. I would also advise all leaders of national institutions and sub-national authorities not to consider journalists as enemies," the premier underscored.
"I do not accept the interview request by some media outlets with ill-intended agendas,.I don't think it is necessary to conduct an interview. However, if they interview with good intentions, we shall cooperate with them," the premier continued.
