Kampong Cham (FN), Jan. 9 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen revealed that a few days ago, vice president of the Candlelight Party Thach Setha asked to meet with his eldest son Hun Manet.

The premier spoke at the groundbreaking for the reconstruction and upgrading of National Road No. 7, held on Monday morning (Jan 9) in Kampong Cham province.

According to the premier, in the meeting, Manet advised Setha to ask other members of the Candlelight Party not to commit illegal acts.

Premier Hun Sen called on political parties to stop attacking the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), and warned of legal action against the opposition if they continue to attack the CPP.

Samdech also instructed the CPP lawyers to monitor and take legal actions against those who attack the CPP.
