Kampong Speu (FN), Dec. 26 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen announced that in 2023, he will visit the Maldives in January to open up tourism connectivity and find markets for rice exports, and will also pay a working visit to Laos in February.

The premier spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction and upgrade of National Road No. 41 at Kampong Speu Province on Monday morning (Dec. 26).

"I plan to visit the Maldives In January 2023 to promote tourism and seek markets for rice. I will pay a working a visit to Laos in February,,” the premier underlined.

On that occasion, Samdech also thanked the people of Kandal and Kampong Speu who voted for the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) in the previous commune elections. He hoped that the people nationwide will continue to vote for the CPP in the upcoming July 2023 election.
