Sihanoukville (FN), Dec. 22 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen called on the people to obey the traffic laws.

The premier spoke at the inauguration of a 43-kilometer road connecting Prey Nup district to Sihanoukville on Thursday morning.

"There are so many accidents every day. I would like to call on our people to learn the traffic laws and obey it strictly […] our people seem to be more afraid of the police than the laws,” the premier underlined.

"If we obey the law, we do not need to be afraid of the police. Abide the laws even when the police are not around,” the premier added.
