Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 17 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen shared five recommendations as the foundation for learning and direction for practice for Cambodian journalists, according to his message to the 19th Editor' Forum of Club of Cambodian Journalists, held on Saturday (Dec 17).

The five recommendations as follows:

First, strengthen the code of ethics and professional practice as well as oppose opportunists under the label of journalism in order to maintain the values and dignity.

Second, train journalists in both professional and digital media technology. Thus, journalists have the up-to-date capacity with the development of modern media today.

Third, jointly fight against fake news and avoid being a fake news distributor, causing the nation to fall into chaos.

Fourth, continue to jointly promote health measures and the spread of COVID19 more actively and advise citizens to get COVID19 vaccine.

Fifth, actively promote Cambodia’s hosting the 32nd SEA Games in 2023 to all levels of public audiences.
