Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 14 – French president Emmanuel Macron, together with Cambodia, called on Russia to immediately stop its airstrikes and attacks on civilians and infrastructure.

“Russia's war in Ukraine has caused too much suffering. Together with Cambodia, we call on Russia to stop its strikes and attacks on civilian populations and infrastructure immediately. International partners, join us in this call,” said president Macron.

The French president made the remarks after a bilateral meeting with Cambodian premier Hun Sen, who is paying a working visit to France on the sidelines of ASEAN-EU summit in Brussels, Belgium.
