Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 8 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen and Vietnamese prime minister Pham Minh Chinh presided over the signing ceremony of 11 bilateral cooperative documents, held on Tuesday morning (Nov 8) at the Peace Palace.
The 11 documents such as:
1. Memorandum of Understanding on the Type and Quantity of Commercial Motor Vehicles for Implementation the Agreement and the Protocol between the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Road Transport, which signed by Cambodian public works and transport minister Sun Chanthol, and Vietnamese transport minister Nguyen Van Thang.
2. Memorandum of Understanding between the Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on agricultural cooperation, which signed by Cambodian agriculture minister Dith Tina, and Vietnamese agriculture deputy minister Nguyen Hoang Hiep.
3. Border Trade Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
4. Joint implementation between the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Joint Administrative Operations under the framework of Article 56 (1) (a) of the the Commission Delegated Regulations to the European Union (EU) 2015/2446 dated 28 July 2015 Supplementary Regulation (EU) No. 952/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards detailed rules concerning certain provisions of the Union Customs Code for components and parts of bicycles.
5. Joint implementation between the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Joint Administrative Operations in accordance with Section 18 (3) (b) of the Custom (origin of chargeable goods: Trade Preference Scheme) (EU Exit) Regulation 2020 for components and parts of bicycles.
Document number 3, 4 and 5 were signed by Cambodian commerce minister Pan Sorasak and Vietnamese industry and trade minister Nguyen Hong Dien.
6. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Voice of Vietnam of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Radio and Television Cooperation for 2022-2025, which signed by Cambodian information minister Khieu Kanharith, Minister of Information and Vietnamese director general of the Voice of Viet Nam Do Tien Sy.
7. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry of Information and Communication of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on cooperation in the field of post, telecommunications, information and communication technology and digital revolution, which signed by Cambodian posts and telecommunications minister Chea Vandeth, and Vietnamese information and communication Nguyen Manh Hung.
8. Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Cooperation between the Ministry of Cults and Religions of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the National Committee of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which signed by Cambodian cults and religions minister Chhit Sokhon and Vietnamese chairman of the national committee Hoa Allan
9. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Labor Cooperation, which signed by Cambodian labor and vocational training minister Ith Sam Heng, and Vietnamese labour, invalids and social affairs minister Dao Ngoc Dung.
10. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Financial Innovation and Payment System between the National Bank of Cambodia and the State Bank of Vietnam, which signed by governor of the National Bank of Cambodia Chea Chanto and governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam Nguyen Thi Hong.
11. Memorandum of Understanding between Viettel Cambodia and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.
