(Phnom Penh): Cambodia based Lanmei (Cambodia) Training Center (LTC) - a full flight simulator training center, flight school and MPL (Multi-Crew Pilot License) operator which is part of Lanmei Airlines has announced a partnership with Singapore Flying College (SFC), a flight school owned by Singapore Airlines.
“The partnership will have SFC as our training consultant and training partner”, said Captain Darren Chan, CEO of LTC. The partnership will start on 1st November 2022, with one of the MPL expert from Singapore Flying College based in Phnom Penh Cambodia.
The idea of this collaboration is to assist LTC in further development and overseeing the pilot training program. “Having SFC’s expertise and experience, will definitely enhance the quality of our flight training program”, said Captain Goh Chee Hong, General Manager of LTC.
“Besides assisting us in the MPL program, the future plans will include Private Pilot License and Commercial Pilot License program by end of 2022. LTC is looking towards providing the highest quality of flight training program in Cambodia. LTC’s A320 full flight simulator will be arriving in December 2022. Once the simulator arrives, LTC will be able to complete all flight training programs in Cambodia for all inspiring pilots. Currently most of the flight trainings are completed outside of Cambodia,” said Captain Goh.
Both Captain Darren and Captain Goh were graduates of SFC more than 20 years ago. “We believe SFC is our right partner, having gone through their training firsthand together with more than 2000+ graduates to date since 1988. Our training organizations share the same values in training our future airline pilots”, added Captain Darren and Captain Goh. Together, LTC and SFC will ensure to provide the best and highest quality of flight training in Cambodia.
