Banteay Meanchey (FN), Oct. 23 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen thanked citizens who voted for Cambodian People's Party (CPP) in the 2022 communal election. He urged people to continue voting for CPP in general election in 2023.

The premier spoke during a meeting with flood victims in Banteay Meanchey on Sunday morning (Oct 23).

"I would like to thank our citizens for their landslide support on CPP in the recent communal election," the premier underscored.

CPP has won 9,376 communal councilor seats at the 5th mandate communal elections and is leading 1,648 communes.
