Kandal (FN), Oct. 20 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen called on local officials to timely assist the eligible voters with documents required for voting registration, speaking at the press conference on Thursday morning (Oct 20).

“The national identity card (ID) is not the responsibility for the National Election Committee (NEC), but of the local officials. I would like to take this opportunity to urge all officials to timely assist citizens with documents required for voting registration,” the premier underscored.

The NEC announced that the voter list revision and voter registration period will run from 20 October to 8 December 2022.
