Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 19 – Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC) in collaboration with Sovannaphum Life (SVL) launched its first Family Fun Bike event in a morning filled with health driven fun and memories at the Sakura Avenue, Chroy Changvar City, a key satellite city project developed by OCIC.
This year’s Family Fun Bike for a cause aimed at raising funds to donate its proceeds for children in medical need through the Angkor Hospital for Children and to Sipar Cambodia as part of OCIC and SVL’s efforts in improving children's health as well as nationwide literacy in the form of books and other educational materials. Upon posting, the event through the support and sponsorships of InterCare Medical Center, Canadia Bank, Dara Hotels, LM Car, The Elysee, The Olympia Mall, Sorya Center Point, ICE Electronics, Dinosaurs Alive, Coconut Park, Ratana Plaza, Dara Insurance, Dara Ventures, Dara Safe Cambodia, Brilliant Advertising, Go on Tailor, NTL and Cana Concrete successfully generated around US$6,000 worth in proceeds to be shared equally by both beneficiaries.

With riders in the 10, 20 and 30 kilometer categories, the event takes participants through a course highlighting the very best of the Chroy Changvar City and its surrounding areas featuring facilities such as Sakura Avenue, Food Palace, Car City as well as the state-of-the-art CamTech University.
