Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 10 – Newly appointed German ambassador to Cambodia Stefan Anton Messerer vowed to encourage more German investors to invest in the kingdom and put efforts to further enhance Cambodia-Germany relations and cooperation.

Stefan Anton Messerer spoke during a courtesy call on Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, held on Monday morning (Oct 10) at the Peace Palace.

The new German ambassador praised the premier for his wise leadership, in particular the rapid development of the kingdom.

Germany is pleased to assist the kingdom on her journey, he said.

For his part, premier Hun Sen welcomed and congratulated Stefan on his diplomatic mission to Cambodia. The premier also thanked the German government and their people for assisting Cambodia.

Samdech said the kingdom's success and development are inseparable from German aids, especially during the fight against COVDID19.
