Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 6 – Cambodia strongly condemned the North Korea’s launch of ballistic missile over Japan and considered such action a threat to regional security.

The premier spoke at the opening of Cambodia Outlook Conference 2022 under a theme “Revitalising Cambodia: Sustaining Development after COVID19”, held on Thursday (Oct 6) in Phnom Penh.

On 4 October 2022, during the bilateral meeting with visiting Cuban prime minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, the premier told his counterpart that he condemned the launch of a ballistic missile over Japan by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

The premier said that the move by the DPRK was dangerous and constituted another violation of the United Nations Security Council Resolutions.
