Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 4 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen and visiting Cuban prime minister Manuel Marrero Cruz presided over the signing ceremony of two documents.

The signing ceremony was held on Tuesday evening (Oct 4) at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh.

The two documents are (1) Cooperation and Cultural Exchange Program between the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and the Cuban Ministry of Culture for 2022 to 2027; and (2) Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Physical Education, Culture and Sports between the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Cuban National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER).

During the premier’s three-day official visit to Cuba, the two countries signed three MoUs, including (1) MoU on Cooperation between the two Diplomatic Academies; (2) MoU on Cooperation in Sports Development, Cooperation Plan between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs; and (3) MoU on Health Cooperation.
