Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 17 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen reaffirmed not to appoint anyone who is technologically illiterate in the government leadership role, speaking in the graduation ceremony of students of Puthisastra University, held on Wednesday (Aug 17) at OCIC, Phnom Penh.
“I have mentioned many times, we [government] do not appoint anyone who is technologically illiterate in the government leadership role. At least, they should know how to effectively use smart phone” the premier underlined.
The premier continued, nowadays, the premier has created an online platform group for government, provincial governors, and other departments. Therefore, there is no point to appoint officials who do not know how to use the smart phone and applications such as Telegram and Whatsapp for communications and work.
