Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 5 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that he will attend in the funeral of former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe on 27 September 2022 in Tokyo, Japan.

The premier spoke while receiving an honorary doctorate degree on development from RUPP on Friday morning (Aug 5).

“I will attend in person Abe’s funeral on 27 September 2022,” the premier underlined.

On 8 July 2022, Abe, 67, was shot on the street in Nara City, western Japan, during the campaign for the upper house election.
