Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen asked the Cambodian female TikTok users to respect the kingdom’s tradition and dignity, speaking in a meeting with Cambodian ASEAN Para Games athletes at the Peace Palace on Wednesday (Jul 6).

"I would like to convey this message to Cambodian female TikTok users to respect the tradition and dignity of the kingdom, as I have observed that they are using inappropriate languages, which have seriously affected Cambodian female dignity,” the premier underlined.

On that occasion, Samdech also emphasized that Cambodia has no plans to shut down TikTok, but it is not a platform to use inappropriate languages and spread critics/hatred against the government.
