Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 6 – Cambodia donated 2 million face masks, 200,000 N95 masks, 300 automatic oxygen generators, 100 patient monitoring equipment and USD1 million to ASEAN.

Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen announced during his meeting with Cambodian ASEAN Para Games athletes at the Peace Palace on Wednesday (Jul 6).

“Three countries have already joined the ASEAN Reserve of Medical Supplies for Public Health Emergencies, and we are the fourth. Therefore, this morning, I decided to donate 2 million ordinary face masks, 200,000 N95 masks, 300 automatic oxygen generators, 100 patient monitoring equipment and USD1 million to ASEAN,” the premier underlined.

According to the premier, the three countries are Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.

On that occasion, Samdech also reaffirmed Cambodia’s continuous support for ASEAN, including the donation of rapid test equipment.
