Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 23 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen sent a separate letter to president of the National Assembly Heng Samrin, president of the Senate Say Chhum, and interior minister Sar Kheng, informing the change of his date of birth from 4 April 1951 to 5 August 1952, according to the letters seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Jun 23).

On 22 June 2022, Phnom Penh Municipal Court approved premier Hun Sen’s request to change date of birth. The new official date of birth is 5 August 1952.
