Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 21 – Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, secretary general of the Muslim World League, has expressed great satisfaction with the harmony of race and religion in Cambodia.
Al-Issa paid a courtesy call on Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen on Tuesday at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh.
“It is my pleasure to visit Cambodia, a peaceful country without religious and racial discrimination. It reflects the true value of Cambodia, which shall be respected and be a model for the world,” premier's personal secretary Eang Sophalleth quoted Al-Issa as saying.
Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa also praised the premier's wise leadership, which has brought peace, stability and development to the kingdom.
Premier Hun Sen thanked Al-Issa for his kind remarks. The premier underlined that harmony race and religion is significantly important for the country to achieve peace, stability and development.
