Tbong Khmum (FN), Jun. 20 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said Viet Nam completely withdrew troops from Cambodia two years before Paris Peace Agreement.
The premier spoke at the 45th anniversary of the liberation journey on Monday (Jun 20) at Cambodia-Viet Nam border.
"Viet Nam troops were withdrawn on 30 September 1989, two years before Paris Peace Agreement. This is the real history," the premier said, adding that “some people claimed that Viet Nam withdrew troops due to Paris Peace Agreement. It was wrong.”
