Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 27 – Cambodian Ministry of Health allowed private pharmaceutical companies to import COVID19 vaccines recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) for nationwide distributions, according to the ministry’s letter dated Tuesday.

Pharmaceutical companies, which have received permission from the Ministry of Health, can apply for the import of WHO-approved COVID19 vaccines.

The companies must comply with the technical standards for the transportation, monitoring and storage of COVID19 vaccines in warehouses to ensure high safety and efficiency.
