Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 26 – On behalf of Cambodian government and people, prime minister Hun Sen expressed his sincere appreciation to the government and people of Japan for the provision of 1 million doses of Japan's domestically manufactured AstraZeneca vaccine to Cambodia.

“This generous donation deeply reflects the longstanding relations and excellent cooperation between our two countries, and significantly contributes to the implementation of Cambodia's national vaccination program,” according to the premier’s letter addressed to prime minister of Japan Suga Yoshihide dated 24 July 2021.
