Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, on Tuesday, delivered remarks at the leaders summit between the Communist Party of China and World Political Parties under the theme of “For the People’s Wellbeing: Responsibility of Political Parties” held via video conference.

The premier shared three views on the role of political parties in responding to the COVID19 global crisis for the purpose of promoting the happiness, prosperity and well being of the people.

First, uphold the lives and interests of the people and international solidarity and cooperation with strict respect for the sovereignty and independence of each nation.

Second, unite to save human lives by successfully fighting against COVID19.

Third, consideration surrounding socio-economic recovery is an indispensable task, as the COVID19 crisis subsides in the near future.
