Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 1 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen ordered the purchase of more Chinese medicine to treat COVID19 patients after witnessing the effectiveness of the medicine.

Arab and the Middle East countries also use such medicine, the premier addressed in a special message through video conference on Thursday morning.

The premier himself also used the traditional Chinese medicine as the preventive measures aginst COVID19 disease.

Samdech also advised to check the supply of the Chinese medicine at the COVID19 hospitals, for he has learnt that the medicine has not been properly used and rolled out to treat COVID19 patients at some hospitals.

For the welfare of Cambodian people, the sub-committee must strongly review and pay high attention to the use of medicine in treating COVID19 patients, the premier added.
