Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 18 – French ambassador to Cambodia Eva Nguyen Binh highly commended Cambodian government's COVID19 preventive measures and vaccination campaign.
Ambassador Eva spoke during a farewell call on prime minister Hun Sen on Friday morning.
The ambassador congratulated Samdech Hun Sen and the Royal Government on the successful vaccination campaign for both locals and foreigners.
Premier Hun Sen told the ambassador that the Kingdom aims to make vaccines available for everyone living in Cambodia. He thanked the French government for assisting Cambodia in the fight against COVID19, particularly the contributions of Pasteur Institute.
The ambassador recalled that during her mandate in Cambodia, all discussions she made with Cambodian officials are open and honest, and those are keys to her successful diplomatic mission in the Kingdom.
"Cambodia is a country of peace, stability and development. The French government and private sectors continue to work with Cambodia on various sectors, including sustainable development," the ambassador underlined.
Cambodian premier thanked the ambassador for her efforts to strengthen and expand Cambodia-France diplomatic ties and cooperation. He also thanked the French government for their assistances, especially in human resource development, medical trainings, and development aids.
