Phnom Penh (FN), June 15 – Lao ambassador to Cambodia Amphay Kindavong sent a message to congratulate Cambodia-Laos on the 65th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

“This year is another great year for both people of Laos and Cambodia come together to mark after 65 years since the two nations have established diplomatic relations,” wrote ambassador Amphay Kindavong.

“Even though 1956 was regarded as the beginning of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the relations between the two nations and people have started nearly a thousand years ago, Laos and Cambodia are neighboring counties with long traditional of solidarity, mutual assistance and friendly relations since ancient times, several generations of both leaders established profound friendship.”
