Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 14 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen asked the newly-appointed Czech ambassador to Cambodia Martin Vavra to further promote economic, trade, investment and human resource development cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Vavra paid a courtesy call on premier Hun Sen at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh on Monday.
Ambassador commits to promote and enhance Cambodia-Czech cooperation in politics, economy, trade and investment.
"The Czech Republic will continue to assist Cambodia, especially in human resource development," the ambassador underlined.
Czech wrote off a large amount of debt, and turned the unsolved debt into development aids to help Cambodia’s education sector and the social affairs.
In response, Cambodian premier congratulated Martin Vavra for being appointed as Czech Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Cambodia.
He informed the ambassador that Cambodia will inoculate approximately 10 million people by November 2021.
