Phnom Penh (FN), May 19 – Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn, on 17 May 2021, met with US Ambassador to Cambodia Patrick Murphy to discuss bilateral and regional issues.

“The minister and ambassador shared the views that there are a number of good progress of the two countries' on-going cooperation, particularly trade and investment, which saw constant rise in 2020 in spite of the COVID19 pandemic; and that despite certain differences, the two countries remain committed to working closely to address those challenges, and would not allow them to pose as obstacles to the cooperation between the two countries,” according to a press release dated 18 May 2021.
