Phnom Penh (FN), May 2 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen wrote on Facebook on Sunday that the government will lift COVID19 lockdown in Phnom Penh and other provinces, except for high-risk areas.

«We will only impose lockdown on any city or province that has high risk of COVID19 infection. Previously, we have no choices but impose lockdown to curb COVID19 and save people’s lives,» the premier said.

Premier Hun Sen asked for understanding from compatriots during this difficult time.
