Phnom Penh (FN), May 2 – Six Cambodian patients living in Phnom Penh, Kandal and Sihanoukville died of COVID19 on 30 April and 1 May 2021, according to the Ministry of Health's announcement dated Sunday.
A 71-year-old Cambodian man from Kandal was tested positive on 23 April 2021. He had high blood pressure and passed away at 07:10 on 1 May 2021.
A 71-year-old Cambodian woman from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 28 April 2021. She passed away at 07:30 on 30 April 2021.
A 76-year-old Cambodian woman from Sihanoukville was tested positive on 28 April 2021. She had diabetes and passed away at 08:30 on 1 May 2021.
A 61-year-old Cambodian man from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 29 April 2021. He had diabetes and passed away at 09:00 on 1 May 2021.
A 59-year-old Cambodian man from Kandal was tested positive on 15 April 2021. He had diabetes and passed away at 17:48 on 1 May 2021.
A 45-year-old Cambodian man from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 30 April 2021. He had diabetes and passed away at 00:48 on 1 May 2021.
The patients passed away due to severe lung disease and respiratory crisis attacked by COVID19, the ministry confirmed.
To date, Cambodia has registered 103 cases of COVID19 fatality.
