Phnom Penh (FN), May 2 – Cambodia reported 730 new cases of COVID19, while 169 patients recovered on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 2 May 2021 (updated as of 11:30 a.m).

Two newly infected patients are imported cases.

The other 728 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are from Phnom Penh, Kandal, Sihanoukville, Kampot, Takeo, Prey Veng, Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmum, Steung Treng, Pursat, Kampong Thom and Siem Reap.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 14,520 cases of COVID19 with 5,369 recoveries and 103 deaths.
