Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 26 – Cambodia reported 580 new cases of COVID19, while 177 patients recovered on Monday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 26 April 2021 (updated as of 4:00 p.m).

The newly infected patient is a 25-year-old Cambodian migrant worker returning from Thailand to Cambodia on 24 April 2021.

The other 579 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Chinese nationals from Kep, Kampong Chnang, Kampong Speu, Kampong Thom, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Tbong Khmum, Banteay Meanchey, Kandal, Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 10555 cases of COVID19 with 3577 recoveries and 79 deaths.
