Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 24 – Ten Cambodian patients living in Phnom Penh, Svay Rieng and Banteay Meanchey died of COVID19 on 22 April and 23 April 2021, according to the Ministry of Health's announcement dated Saturday.
A 63-year-old Cambodian woman from Phnom Penh was tested positive and passed away at 14:12 on 22 April 2021.
A 77-year-old Cambodian man from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 22 April 2021. He passed away at 15:30 on 22 April 2021.
A 34-year-old Cambodian man from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 21 April 2021. He had diabetes and passed away at 3:40 on 22 April 2021.
A 64-year-old Cambodian man from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 21 April 2021. He passed away at 20:20 on 22 April 2021.
A 24-year-old Cambodian man from Svay Rieng was tested positive on 22 April 2021. He passed away at 8:00 on 22 April 2021.
A 42-year-old Cambodian man from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 16 April 2021. He had diabetes, hepatitis and passed away at 7:50 on 23 April 2021.
A 57-year-old Cambodian man from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 23 April 2021. He had diabetes and passed away at 20:50 on 23 April 2021.
A 67-year-old Cambodian woman from Banteay Meanchey was tested positive on 22 April 2021. She passed away at 12:40 on 23 April 2021.
A 71-year-old Cambodian woman from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 17 April 2021. She passed away at 6:15 on 23 April 2021.
A 32-year-old Cambodian woman from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 16 April 2021. She had heart disease and passed away at 4:00 on 23 April 2021.
The patients passed away due to severe lung disease and respiratory crisis attacked by COVID19, the ministry confirmed.
To date, Cambodia has registered 71 cases of COVID19 fatality.
